About Our Team

Naomi is an accredited exercise physiologist and exercise scientist with 23 years industry experience. She specialises in the management of chronic disease; namely dementia, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and obesity. She also has a keen interest in menopause and women’s health. Naomi is currently completing her PhD at the University of Queensland where she is investigating the effect of high intensity exercise on cognitive outcomes in older adults. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family and playing netball.

George is a qualified personal trainer and CrossFit coach with over 10 years industry experience. She has a special interest in pre/post natal exercise and is a passionate advocate for women to be able to train safely and confidently in the gym environment. She also has over 7 years experience working with kids and teens and loves seeing our younger generation getting fit and strong. In her spare time you’ll find George rearranging the gym (for the millionth time) or spending time with her friends and family.

Mutchy’s background varies from team sport, soccer, touch football to individual sport including athletics. His hobbies are anything with water and outdoors, especially surfing, boating and camping. Mutch discovered Crossfit in 2011 where it has been front and centre of his fitness for the last 12 years. Over that time he’s been lucky enough to watch CrossFit grow and be part of a great community. He’s been a  member of a regionals team, helped run CrossFit events as well as running his own very successful CrossFit event WOD4HARPER, for many years. Mutchy has a strong belief of family, community and helping others, which pushed him towards coaching 5 years ago, something he finds very rewarding. Mutch is looking forward to getting to know you all and have some fun while getting fit!

John has been a CrossFit coach for over 8 years now and is currently studying at UniSQ where he is undertaking a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology. He enjoys working with people of all fitness levels and just being a part of their journey to better health.

If you’ve met John you know he loves a good dad joke, having a little chat 😉, setting up the rowers exactly in line and that he’s also really passionate about helping others. In his spare time you will find John lifting ridiculously heavy weights and reading his favourite CrossFit/exercise science blogs.
